Step-by-Step Guide: Installing Roller Shutters
Mark the roller shutters' top location on the wall as well as their breadth. To outline the roller shutter, level down either side of the window starting at these points. Make sure it is upright, horizontal, and centred.
Step 2: Mark the top location on the wall and measure the depth of the head box. Next, measure each side to find the position of the guide. For in-reveal roller shutters, cut the guide to the exact length and angle of the window sill.
Step 3: Find the finest places to secure the guide to the wall by holding it in the designated locations (from stages 1 and 2). Move these markings to the guide on the opposite side. Using a hole size appropriate for the screws, drill through the front and rear of the guide. Step 4: Using the pre-drilled holes, fasten the head box lid. Place the roller shutter guides in place after sliding the guide legs into place. Note the mounting points and position the roller shutter on the designated outline. Step 5:Attach the roller shutter and make final adjustments and testing. Note: In the case of an electrical roller shutter, make sure the wiring is appropriate, for safety concerns, contact professional electricians.Brands We Work With

I contacted Oz Roller Shutters to get two north facing window shutters, around 2x2 meters, as a neighbour had used them a few years ago.
Communication and quoting was prompt and professional and Sam was more than helpful in guiding options and helping us select, as well as very reasonably priced from the outset (not quoting high and negotiating down like many other companies).
Installation occured even earlier than indicated, which was amazing. The shutters were installed extremely well, look great, function well and again Sam was great to deal with.

We used Oz Roller Shutters in December 2020 to install 14 shutters. It was one of the best decisions we made with regard to our home. Having our first level balcony facing the west where the suns sets we suffered for a couple of years from rain and heat hitting our glass windows and glass sliding doors. Even though we had refrigerated cooling it was still very warm in the house because of the heat from the sun. When it would rain it would be terrible. Everything on the balcony would be soaked and the floor would be wet and slippery. None of the above happens now. Our house stays cool in summer and warmer in winter without using the central heating as much.

We also had them installed on the ground level which makes us feel very safe. Pretty difficult for an intruder to come in when these heavy duty roller shutters are down. We cannot praise Sam Navi and their crew enough. They are so polite and willing to go that bit extra to make you happy. The reason I am writing this review so long after install is because we had another shutter installed recently and completely forgot to write a review after the initial install. We believe they look great but that's our opinion. They also have this great tool on their website where you are able to calculate how much it will cost you. I called other companies but found Oz Roller Shutters were much more competitive and consultative. Highly recommended.
